Services

What we can help with

Nine ways we help businesses and homeowners across Dorset. If what you need isn't listed, ask anyway.

IT support and consultancy

Day-to-day IT help, annual IT health checks and straight advice on what to buy, fix or leave alone.

Ideal for: Small businesses, sole traders and home offices

  • Annual IT reviews and health checks, so problems are found before they stop you working
  • Setting up and looking after computers, email, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Backups, updates and basic security, done properly and written down
  • Plain-English advice before you spend money on new kit or software

Network support and consultancy

Wi-Fi that reaches every room, reliable office networks, and someone who can tell you why it keeps dropping.

Ideal for: Offices, shops, holiday lets and homes

  • Wi-Fi surveys and fixes for offices and homes
  • Router, switch and firewall set-up and configuration
  • Cabling advice, tidy-ups and documentation of what you have
  • Remote access and secure connections for staff working from home

Professional website and email

Swap the Gmail or Hotmail address on your van for your own name. A simple website and matching email accounts, all in for £500.

Ideal for: Side hustles, sole traders and small businesses with fewer than 10 employees

  • Your own web address, like yourname.co.uk, with email to match (you@yourname.co.uk)
  • A simple, fast website that works on phones and shows people how to reach you
  • Email set up on your phone and computer, with your old messages moved across if you want
  • Up to 10 mailboxes and 100 email addresses on your domain, such as info@, quotes@ and accounts@
  • £500 all in: setup, your website, email accounts, your domain name registered for at least a year, and the first year of web and email hosting
  • For side hustles, sole traders and businesses with fewer than 10 employees. We'll agree renewal costs with you before year two
  • No lock-in: the domain, website and email are yours, and we'll help you move them if you ever switch provider

Electronic device diagnosis and repair

Fault-finding and component-level repair of electronics, from computers and monitors to audio kit and small appliances.

Ideal for: Individuals and businesses

  • Diagnosis first, with an honest view on whether a repair is worth it
  • Board-level repair, including power supply faults
  • Data recovery from failing drives where possible
  • Keeping good equipment out of landfill

Business administration support

Admin, filing and paperwork handled for you, including getting your records in order before the tax return is due.

Ideal for: Small businesses and sole traders

  • Filing, record-keeping and document organisation
  • Organising your paperwork so it's ready for your accountant ahead of tax deadlines
  • Supplier, customer and diary admin
  • Setting up simple systems so it stays organised

Virtual assistant

An extra pair of hands for email, bookings and follow-ups, and someone to attend the meetings you can't.

Ideal for: Business owners short on time

  • Inbox and diary management
  • Research, bookings and arrangements
  • Attending meetings on your behalf and reporting back, so you don't miss the latest information
  • Flexible, ad-hoc or regular hours

Property support

Practical, hands-on help for landlords and owners: property visits, letting contractors in and a local point of contact.

Ideal for: Landlords, holiday-let owners and absent owners

  • Property checks and visits between tenancies or bookings
  • Meeting contractors and letting them in
  • A local point of contact when you're not nearby

Pre-purchase property visits and reports

Can't get to a viewing? We'll visit a property you're thinking of buying and send you a clear photo report.

Ideal for: Buyers moving to Dorset from further away

  • An independent visit, with photos and video
  • Notes on the surroundings, parking, noise and the neighbourhood
  • Answers to the specific questions you give us beforehand
  • Not a substitute for a RICS survey, but useful before you commit to one

Remote hands in Dorset

Someone reliable on site when you can't be: reboot the kit, swap the part, check the premises, send the photos.

Ideal for: IT providers and businesses based outside the area

  • On-site technical tasks for IT companies and managed service providers
  • Equipment swaps, reboots, cabling checks and photos
  • Deliveries, collections and site checks
  • Dorset and the surrounding counties

What we don't do

So you know exactly where we fit: we provide practical and administrative help, not professional advice. We don't:

  • give legal advice, or draw up or handle tenancy agreements and other contracts
  • act as a letting or managing agent, or hold rent or deposits
  • provide accountancy, bookkeeping or tax advice
  • file returns or documents with Companies House or HMRC on your behalf

If you need any of those, we're happy to point you towards someone who can help.

Insured

We carry public liability insurance for all the work we do, on your premises or ours.
